If you are having an emergency, call 911
Diley Ridge Medical Center features the very first free-standing emergency department in central Ohio. Our full service ER is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and provides the same emergency medical care that patients receive at a hospital emergency department. Most patients who arrive at the Diley Ridge emergency center are treated and released from the center, although the center does include a 10-bed unit for patients who require observation and monitoring. Patients who come to Diley Ridge but need to be admitted are transported by ground or air to a nearby full-service hospital.Because it’s part of a joint venture between Fairfield Medical Center and Mount Carmel, the Diley Ridge emergency center is closely linked with Mount Carmel hospitals. Shared technologies allow x-rays and other images to reviewed by physicians and technologists at all of the affiliated facilities. Previously faced with less convenient options and longer EMS response times, residents of northern Fairfield County now have improved, immediate and convenient access to emergency medical care thanks to the emergency center at Diley Ridge. |
